If you are just discovering my work you will soon gather that I LOVE color! All the hues and intensities, the combinations and contrasts, how it interacts with light, with form and with other mediums. I use collage, paint layers and texture to create joyful (and sometime unexpected) results that capture that element of surprise and delight I’m striving for. My inspiration comes from the amazing perfection of the natural world and its denizens, its shifts and patterns, its mystery and its divine design. I’m also inspired by other artists, by good humans, and by that wonderful creative force that connects us all. My goal with my art is always to lift, to elevate, to recognize and to honour that connection.
